Check out my website and get free awesome newborn digital backdrops just now. I have over 25 free great digital newborn backdrops for you.
Okay let's go ahead. So, the next thing I’m going to do is open Photoshop CC and then open hammock digital backdrop. I'm going to a menu bar, then File, Open, choose hammock digital backdrop and hit button Open. Now I'm going to place my cute baby here. I'm going File. Place embedded. hit Enter key. Choose my cute baby. Hit button place hit enter key. Ok Done. Now. I want to save my awesome project with baby . File. Save. Then type a file name. Then hit button save. Then hit ok. Done!
So the next thing I’m going to do is get rid the background around this cute baby and to do that I’m going to use the quick selection tool, and then I'm going to need to go in and modify that edge using the refine edge option.
The quick selection tool is really powerful and the most precise tool that you can use. This is one of the easier ways to make a selection when you want to select any objects on your image. Quick selection tool allows you to draw selections around your image easily and quickly, while the refine edge feature just does a fantastic job, okay.
Just now I’m going to go in toolbar and just hit the quick selection tool and just drag it around baby very roughly. You can also use hot keys - this's W on your keyboard. Okay. Let's go. You can control the size of the brush using the option bar, or use square brackets. Okay
I just click on the image and start to drag brush and you notice that it detects edg es for me. If I click and not drag, you'll notice then that is just simply adds selection. If you hold down Alt on keyboard and this will take away a certain part of the selection that you don't want included. If you want to add an area to the selection, just release the Alt on keyboard.
Now, the selection is made, I’m going to go ahead and hit the button Refine edge and you'll see the refine edge panel. Okay, let's go
Once you've clicked on refine edge you can see what we have to work with here, in the View mode you can see different scenarios of what your mask is going to look like. We can see what it's going to look like on a black background, a white background. We can go ahead and see what the actual mask itself looks like, and we can see it with the layers revealed on transparency.
Okay, here I'm choosing the refine brush and just stroke it around a baby’s head just to bring out some of the hair details. I'm using my Wacom Intuos Pro tablet. It's really perfect for this job. WoW, look how it picks up on the fine detail. Now I'm going to output it as a new layer with its own layer mask and I'm just hit OK. Okay, now we have baby with a layer mask, as you can see it’s perfect, it’s a lot better than it was.
So, now we have the baby above the background layer. Click Ctrl+T, which bring up the transform, hold down Shift to keep the image looking the same ratio and just bring it down. Right click, choose flip horizontal hit ok.
Okay, it's really great job. Okay, let's go ahead. Now I’m going to show you one awesome trick that can help you quickly and easily to create stunning fur on your backdrop. It's very easy as one, two, three... Just a few clicks and we will see a completely different picture.
So,okay let's go. At the first, choose brush tool, then right click and choose fur brush. I'm using my stunning fur brushes that was created special for this job. You can download the brushes from my website. The links you'll find below. Okay.
Now I'm going just to hit the layer mask and just drag my brush along the baby's edge. Wow! It's really fantastic job. You can make the brush bigger or smaller, you can rotate the brush or just flip over X axis.

So the next thing I’m going to do is I'd like to change the focus of the background. Choose background. Then let's go up to the menu bar. Then select filter. On the pull-down menu and go down to the blur gallery and then choose the second one iris blur.
You can control the focus by clicking and dragging these pins. You can move it by clicking right here the one if you want to just by clicking somewhere.
They control the amount of blur from sharp focus to where it begins right here. So we can actually get here and decrease that or we can well increase it if we want to. If you hold down the Alt key and grab one of these, it will control just that one.
Okay done. So, the next thing I’m going to do is just add adjustment layer that called is curves. Go in the layer panel. Then hit button adjustment layer. Choose Curves. Well done
Okay done. So, the next thing I’m going to do is just add some fall leaves to make the picture witn baby more beautiful and adorable.
